Swing and Casement Introduction:
Swing and Casement’ is a term usually associated with windows and denotes a window with a glazed 'sash' that is hinged at the sides (side hung), or at the top (top hung) or at the bottom (bottom hung). The parts that open are therefore separate from the frame and are referred to as hinged sashes. This is in contrast to what traditionally would have been called sliding ‘sash windows’, where opening is achieved by a vertically sliding ‘sash’ that moves within the frame.
Casement windows were used before the advent of the sliding sash window which only appeared in the early Georgian period. Before this, casement windows (often with latticed lights) were the predominant window type.
Casement windows usually open from the inside outwards and, depending on the design, can offer full opening for maximum ventilation, as well as allowing a person to lean out. This can also free-up space inside (compared to opening inwards) and may better direct air inwards for ventilation. Typically, if the hinges are on the right of the sash, the locking mechanism will necessarily be on the left, and vice-versa.
In recent years, casement windows in the UK have become more popular than sliding sash windows because they are less complex (no need for hidden cords, pulleys and weights), more economical, have more compact frames, close more tightly, and are easier to manufacture and assemble. Their popularity has spread in part thanks to the marketing activities of replacement window companies which typically replace sliding sash windows with casements.
Door Frame:
The main process is as follows
(1) Ingredients: according to the specific alloy grades, calculate the amount of various alloy components, and reasonably mix with various raw materials.
(2) Smelting: the prepared raw materials are added into the smelting furnace for melting according to the process requirements, and the impurities and gas in the melt are effectively removed by degassing and refining.
(3) Casting: under certain casting conditions, molten aluminum is cooled and cast into round casting rods of various specifications through deep well casting system.
2. Extrusion:
Extrusion is a means of profile forming. First, according to the section of the profile product, the mold is designed and manufactured, and the heated round casting bar is extruded from the mold by the extruder. For 6063 alloy, an air cooling quenching process and an artificial aging process are used to complete the heat treatment. Different brands of heat treatable strengthening alloys have different heat treatment systems.
3. Coloring (here we mainly talk about the process of oxidation)
Oxidation: the surface corrosion resistance of extruded aluminum alloy profile is not strong, so anodizing is necessary to improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of aluminum profile. Almost all the High Bay aluminum profiles produced by Janger High Bay aluminum profile factory are oxidized.
The main process is as follows
(1) Surface pretreatment: chemical or physical methods are used to clean the profile surface to expose the pure substrate, so as to obtain a complete and dense artificial oxide film. It can also be obtained by mechanical means.
(2) Anodization: after surface pretreatment, under certain process conditions, anodization occurs on the surface of the substrate to form a dense, porous and strong adsorption Al203 film.
(3) Sealing: the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodization are sealed to enhance the anti pollution, anti-corrosion and wear resistance of the oxide film. The oxide film is colorless and transparent. By making use of the strong adsorption of the oxide film before sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the film hole, which can make the profile appearance show many colors other than its original color (silver white), such as black, bronze, gold and stainless steel.
